Ee Ling Lim
At 500 Startups, Ee Ling is responsible for corporate, government, and advocacy group partnerships throughout South East Asia. Ee Ling is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Smarter Me, an education startup that equips K-12 students with the skillset, mindset, and heartset of the future, through digital tech, design thinking, and entrepreneurship education. Prior to Smarter Me, Ee Ling spent almost a decade in investment banking with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and CIMB Investment Bank, advising large corporations in South East Asia on M&A, equity capital markets and debt capital markets. She graduated from the University of Queensland.
Tony À Verb
Tony is a serial entrepreneur, urban innovator, venture capitalist and film producer, based in Hong Kong. He’s the founder of GreaterBay Ventures & Advisors, an integrated investment and consulting firm, specialised on cross-border innovation and smart cities. Tony is committed to accelerate the growth of technology companies that positively impact urbanisation under the thesis he coins as “Urban Tech with Impact”. The Greater Bay Area of South China, Hong Kong and Macau is the the biggest megacity on the planet and he sees the region as the best place to facilitate and scale the adaptation of urban tech best practices globally. Tony launched several initiatives and contributes to different verticals and communities locally and globally, with experience in corporate innovation, accelerator programmes and ecosystem building as partner of Nest.vc and co-founder of Mettā, an entrepreneur club. In his spare time, Tony contributes to philanthropic initiatives, creative projects and studies quantum physics. He is a proud alumni member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers community and he is a Greater Bay Area Investment Committee Vice Chair under the Smart City Consortium of Hong Kong.
James Tan
James Tan is Managing Partner at Quest Ventures, a leading venture fund for technology companies that have scalability and replicability in large internet communities. Prior to this, James was co-founder and COO of 55tuan, a NASDAQ listed e-commerce group that grew to more than 200 cities and 5,000 employees across China.
Tanisha Banaszczyk
Tanisha is a Principal at AC Ventures, Indonesia’s leading early stage tech venture capital firm which formed under a merger of Convergence Ventures and Agaeti Ventures in 2019. Here she facilitates a number of initial and follow-on investments across both Indonesia and Southeast Asia and provides hands on support to over 60 portfolio companies through growth initiatives and follow-on fundraising. Prior to ACV, Tanisha was the Head of Investments for Convergence Ventures.
Before relocating to Jakarta, she was an investment banker with Macquarie Capital in Melbourne, Australia’s largest and highest ranked mergers and acquisitions advisor, specialising in global mining and resources transactions. Prior to this, she began her career as a Chartered Accountant with EY and PwC, specialising in transaction advisory, business process assurance and risk advisory. Tanisha graduated as Valedictorian of her year with a Bachelor of Commerce from one of Australia’s leading universities, the University of Western Australia.
Outside of her professional experience, Tanisha has volunteered with a number of organisations aligned to her interests of innovation and entrepreneurship, and her desire to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Australia and Indonesia.
Ryu Hirota
Ryu serves as Principal at Spiral Ventures, a Japanese venture capital firm with its HQ in Singapore and investing in the early stage digital tech startups in SEA region and India. Ryu is in charge of deal sourcing and growth of over 25 portfolio companies across Southeast Asian countries.
Vitavin Itti
Vitavin is the Head of Investment at Beacon Venture Capital, focusing on strategic investments in early and growth-stage tech companies in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Beacon VC, he was with InVent, the pioneer venture fund in Thailand startup ecosystem whose portfolio companies include Omnivirt, Wongnai and Eventpop. Vitavin is an engineer by training and an alumni of Chulalongkorn University and the University of Tokyo, where he was a Japanese Government (Monbusho) Global 30 scholar.
Anuar Seifullin
Anuar Seifullin is the Investment Director of Quest Ventures, a leading venture fund for technology companies that have scalability and replicability in large internet communities. Anuar is also responsible for investment activities in Kazakhstan.
Navin Danapal
Navin is based in SEA (South-East Asia) and focuses on startups expanding in the region or entering ASEAN from China, Australia, South Asia, North America, and Europe. Starting with Singa-Lumpur (Singapore-Malaysia) and then Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam, he builds partnerships and alliances in the region including governments, carriers/telcos, media, tech (TMT), and corporations. He help companies understand the regional landscape and link investors to build better networks by doing Market BD.
Prior to SOSV, Navin was a senior manager of Microsoft ecosystems in the region. He was also an Editor from Singapore Press Holdings tech media, and held a senior role in IDG. Navin has also founded a startup during the 1997 Asian economic crisis, organised a VR hackathon in Beijing with the Chinese government and Coke, advised a number of Asian aerospace hackathons & governments, mentors, and speaks at conference.
Yasuhiro Mimura
Yasuhiro Mimura (Yasu) joined DG Ventures in 2017 and focuses on investments and business development for DGV’s US portfolio.
After gaining experience in both engineering and business by working as a system integrator in Japan and working as a consultant, Yasu spent over 10 years working for a Japanese venture capital firm in the US, focusing on US investments and business development.
Le Hoang Uyen Vy
Vy is currently the General Partner of ESP Capital, an early stage venture fund the mission to support tech startup companies in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. ESP aims to invest in companies that can create profound impact to improve life quality and effectively utilize technological innovations to disrupt the market, with the goal of becoming the next unicorns in Asia. Vy has developed her interest in Information Technology since her young age. At 13, she founded TmSpeed Network, specialized in web design and hosting trading. Her passion for entrepreneurship has empowered her to become a dynamic businesswoman, who is highly committed to excellence and innovation. In 2009, By founded Chon.vn and served as CEO, developing the website into one of the most popular online fashion shopping centers in Vietnam. From 2014 to 2017, she served as Managing Director of Adayroi.com, one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Vietnam that offers more than 12 product categories and generates an annual GMV of US $200+ million. Vy graduated as Valedictorian from McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University in the United States.
Hanno Stegmann
Hanno is Partner & Director at BCG Digital Ventures, the venture incubation unit of the Boston Consulting Group. He is based in Singapore and part of the leadership team of BCGDV’s new South East Asia Incubation Center. At BCGDV he is dedicated to inventing, building, investing in and launching category- changing businesses at start-up speed for the world’s most influential corporates. DV’s portfolio includes ventures such as OVO, Boost, HeyCar, Coup, QantasAssure, Formation, MachineMax or AutoGravity.
Previously, Hanno was CEO of the Rocket Internet in Asia. In this role, he managed a portfolio of >20 startups in 15 different markets across South East Asia with many successful incubations and exits. Prior to that, he worked for many years in Venture Capital and was MD of SevenVentures, one of Europe’s largest CVC funds.
Hanno holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (France) & Singapore as well as a B.A. in Management from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and serves currently as Entrepreneur
Estefania Almeida
Estefania Almeida is Global Portfolio Manager at Brinc. She previously worked at Click Ventures, one of the most consistently top performing VC funds globally (ranked number 2 of world top 30); ECOS, a Private Equity fund focused on Renewable energy globally; and Rocket Internet GmbH in different geographies, assessing the quality of tech companies. Estefania holds a MSc.in Finance and International Management from Università Bocconi and UCD, and a BBA and Mathematics degree from HEC Montreal and McGill. She is trilingual (English, Spanish, French).
Adrian Gorritxo
Entrepreneur at heart and big data savvy with experience in product management. Now passionate in developing & investing in avant-garde tech projects in Socios Q, a seed VC based in Madrid.
In the last 4 years we have cofounded 3 projects and invested in a total of 19 companies. Developing a new venture to be born soon.
June Chen
June Chen is a Senior Investment Associate at Monk’s Hill Ventures, a leading early-stage tech venture capital firm in Southeast Asia. She is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and LP relations. She also works closely with MHV’s portfolio companies and is based in Thailand where she is active in building the local startup ecosystem.
Prior to joining Monk’s Hill Ventures, June was an operations project manager at Hyurong Thailand, where she led projects planning and executed construction projects for major manufacturing companies in Thailand.
Prior to Hyurong, June was an investment banker with Siam Commercial Bank and The Quant Group where she advised large corporate clients on IPOs, local and cross-border M&A transactions in Southeast Asia. June’s investment experience spans across sectors including consumer, real estate, finance, telecommunication and energy sectors. June holds an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business of Duke University.
Ajith Isaac
Ajith joined GREE Ventures in 2018. He focuses on the deep tech ecosystem in India and Southeast Asia. Originally from academia, he has worked across research domains from plant biology to neuroscience and finally on Gestational diabetes for his PhD at the National University of Singapore. Previously, he cofounded a Medtech startup, and also cofounded Human Library Singapore. Ajith holds a Masters from University of Madras and a Bachelors degree from Bangalore University.
Pailin Vichakul
Pailin Vichakul is the Principal at SCB 10X (former Digital Ventures), Siam Commercial Bank’s Corporate Venture Capital arm. Pailin earned MBA from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and Bachelor of Accountancy from the Chulalongkorn University.
Tommy Mazenc
Tommy is part of the Corporate VC operations at True where he leads the investment origination, due diligence, and deal execution. The CVC fund invests in early-stage B2B startups having synergies with True and CP Group (Parent company).
Prior to his career at True, Tommy was part of Healthios Capital Market (currently known as Third500), an US/SG cross-border investment bank focused on growth stage healthcare startups structuring private placement, M&A and Pre-IPO transactions.
Nicolas Breitburd
For 20 years, Nicolas has been leading SMEs in the Food Industry. In 2015, he decided to move to Asia and settled in Hong-Kong, where he joined the Startup ecosystem, advising and coaching start-up companies for their development.
Mid 2016, Nicolas met with Karen and Karena, co-founders of WHub and on their way to revolutionize the fundraising space in Hong Kong. He gladly joined the team as employee #4.
End of 2017, Nicolas became Head of Investment Strategy for the newly founded AngelHub, sister company of WHub, that will become in 2018 the first and only fully licensed Equity Crowdfunding Platform in Hong Kong. Since then, he has been assessing more than 1,000 startups willing to raise funds in Hong Kong and shared with them his transparent feedback on their business model.

Vijay is a serial entrepreneur with investments in 30 startups. He is currently the Managing Director at Techstars Hub71 based in Abu Dhabi. Previously he was the Global CEO and Chairman of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) based in Washington D.C. As a serial entrepreneur, Vijay founded several start-ups including manufacturing of safety helmets, association management, event production and a venture fund in S.E. Asia. Early in his career he served in senior executive roles namely in fashion retail, clothing manufacturing and real estate development. Throughout his career, he has taken up board roles such as the Young President Organization (International), Richmond University (London, U.K.), and the 16th Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games.
Andreas Dymasius
Andreas Dymasius is a Senior Investment Associate at Skystar Capital, an early-stage strategic venture capital firm in Southeast Asia, backed by leading corporate groups with access to media, telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, consumer products, and hospitality sectors. Prior joining Skystar Capital, he was a Manager at PwC Deals Strategy and Operations practice in Indonesia, where he managed several M&A projects related to buy-side and sell-side work of a transaction in notable unicorns. On top of that, he has experienced in advising large corporate clients on growth strategy, market entry strategy, and divestment scenario.
Maru Yukihiro Ph.D.
Dr. Maru is a co-founder and Chairman of Real Tech Fund. He is also a founder and group CEO of Leave a Nest Group. He founded Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. in 2002, which became a leading science bridge communication company in Japan. He himself is also an innovator who has been involved in launching more than 70 startups. Not limited to Japan, he has taken initiatives expanding his business to Southeast Asia, US and UK.

Augustus (Augie) is an investment analyst with Sequoia Capital based in Singapore. He focuses primarily on seed investments across Southeast Asia through the Surge program. Before Sequoia, Augie spent time at McKinsey, Kickstart Ventures, and is a graduate of Stanford University.

Amarit is the ASEAN Director of Impact Collective, a community-driven investment & acceleration project for impact-driven startups focusing on opportunities in Asia that invests in, supports, and connect startups that are solving global challenges to accelerate the positive impact in the world.He is best known as the Co-founder and Former CEO of HUBBA, Thailand’s first coworking space and community that is the only Google for Startups Partner Hub in Thailand. He is also Chief International Officer and Cofounder of Techsauce, one of Southeast Asia's leading technology media and events company. His passion for the startup community and to help entrepreneurs grow has led him to angel invest in many of the top Thai startups and actively coaches over 1000+ different startups founders over the past decade. He is also a Fellow of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship (EHF), and has been named as one of Forbes Asia 30 Under 30: Enterprise Technology, and Thailand Startup Enabler of The Year 2016.
He has been an active Startup Weekend Global Faciltator for the past 8 years, organizing and facilitating over 20+ Techstars related event such as the 1st community-led Startup Weekend in Thailand, Startup Next, Thailand Startup Week, and hosting the Techstars APAC Community Leaders Summit. He have been involved at an early stage with more than 20 ventures during the past 8 years as an angel or advisory capacity. He has also coached and consulted ecosystem hubs and leaders in over 30 cities on how to build tech communities.
He also loves to travel, to meet interesting people, attend conferences and look at new coworking spaces. Karena Belin
Karena Belin, CEO of WHub and COO/CFO/RO of AngelHub, is passionate about technology & innovation and helping startups succeed. She successfully co- founded WHub and AngelHub with her associate Karen Contet. Together they are on a mission to empower startups to drive wealth and economic growth and foster the growth of the tech & innovation ecosystem.
Since 2013, Karena has been a leader in the global start- up scene and a pillar of the Hong Kong ecosystem. She acts as ambassador, consultant, speaker, mentor and judge at events and organisations such as the APK (Asia Pacific Conference of the German Industry), Startup Asia Berlin (SUAB) of the Senat to Berlin, Chicago Booth GNVC, Google EYE, RISE Conference and Web Summit, Jeju Peace and Prosperity Conference, FinTech Valley Vizag India, Techsauce Thailand, Tech Open Air Berlin, IFLR, Nexchange, Techstar’s StartupWeekendHK, global YPO YNG+ and more.
Karena is also a member of the Global FinTech Core Group at the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Ex-Com member and Vice President of The Indus Entrepreneurs Network (TiE) HK, ambassador to the German Senat in Berlin through SUAB (Startup Asia Berlin), member of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK), President of the board of the parent organisation (PFO) at Hong Kong International School, as well as driving diversity and inclusion as board member of WOW at the American Women’s Association.
In addition, Karena holds a double diploma in business and administration from the University of Mannheim and the MBA business school ESSEC in Paris. She has worked 15 years for Procter & Gamble in various roles including Finance, Sales and Strategy across Europe, North East Asia and Greater China before co-founding WHub & AngelHub. She has extensive background in business and financial planning, business acquisition and integration.

Chris is a Partner and member of the investment committee at Integra Partners.
Prior to Integra Partners (formerly known as Dymon Asia Ventures), Chris was a co-founder of a venture capital fund focused on early stage technology investments in Asia. Selected investments include 2C2P, DemystData, Lufax, and Exchange Corporation Limited. Prior to that, he spent 7 years with the Robeco Group, a global investment group with $255 billion in assets under management, where Chris was the first employee in Greater China and helped set up the Group’s regional venture arm in Asia. Chris holds an MSc degree in Econometrics from Maastricht University, studied at Fudan University in Shanghai and is a CFA charter holder. Chris has lived and worked in Taipei, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore since 2004.
